Don't let the few successful blind you to the many woes that the masses face. Designer diseases (HIV/AIDS), genocide in Sudan, and the ravages of extreme poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa. In the U.S., Black people are suffering from high rates of addiction (drug and/or alcohol), high incarceration rates, locked in to foods detrimental to our health, un and underemployment of the male masses, obligated to Bush's war on terrorism, and reeling from the devastating effect of being demoted from major minority to also ran. 

Our glorious ancestors would say "This state of affairs is due to a lack of self-knowledge." Self-knowledge or knowing yourself is a deep concept. It deals with the experience of cosmos and nature. As above, so it is below. I am an elder who has been many places and seen many things. I have studied and practiced Christianity, Islam, Yoruba, Nawubian and Kemetian ways of life. I am an independent researcher and practitioner who loves his people. It is out of that love that the, "The Wisdom Chronicles: Reconnecting With Ancestral Knowledge" was written.
