Kinyonyi Kibi
Who is the Kinyonyi Kibi?
Kinyonyi Kibi, a voluntary culture and community-based organisation, is an indigenous group in Uganda. It was founded in 1996 to address traditional and cultural issues and to promote sustainable use of natural resources through research, training, information sharing, advocacy and advisory services so that the community is able to contribute to world development. Their vision is a world society where natural resources are used sustainably for the benefit of all.
It happened. There was a form of cloud, which occurred in dark-black colour. It was in two parts (twins). One had snakelike or umbilical cord and was also in twins and had a big side. The other part was scar-like. The twin of snakelike indicates the kingship of heaven.
These parts, the one which was snakelike, started moving away from the counter part. The snakelike started growing and making a curve to the counter part, until it entered into the scar organ.
For a long time, these parts after uniting started grabbling within each other with high effort/power in a circular motion. It took time to make that action. By that time the darkness started appearing into brighter colours then lighter. After the high pressure, the outcome was a drop of jelly liquid (egg shape), which had a snakelike tail and in twins.
Time past for a long-time, the snakelike
started producing jellylike substances that slowly by slowly covered the drop of
jelly (egg) until the drop was covered completely for protection.
Time came, the surrounded part of the
drop was very heavy and dark black. It started producing raises (heat) within
that process. There was heavy power of life, producing loud voices and joyness. That
was the great creator of self, called KINENE (THE GREAT OR BIG ONE), one who is
alive and who will always be alive from the beginning, present and the future.
The heaviness of the egg and its heavy protection from the snake-shape on reaching full power resulted into high thunder, which came out with high flasks of fire. These flasks turned into stars. This action caused daytime. To make this, there was high power of high capacity of fighting (energy) which resulted into rainbow names, Musoke and Namusoke, meaning the husband and wife of rainbow. These two snakes are the holy spirits of the creator of self, and the creator of the plan, which is the additional name of the creator.
The seven colours of the rainbow indicate the spirits, which came out of the existence of the rainbow. These are:
Ø Thunder (Kiwanuka)
Ø Moon (Ndaula)
Ø Earthquake (Musisi)
Ø Wind/Breather (Mukasa)
Ø Straightener of the earth (Nabamba)
Ø Ways of lack (Kitinda)
Ø Makes straight Angon in spirits. (Kawaaga is the spirit which takes spirits of the dead people to the place where they are supposed to be taken)
