Acute hemorrhagic fever caused by an Ebola-like virus has killed about 80 people in Angola, London's Daily Telegraph reported Friday.
But World Health Organization doctors say they not believe it is the Ebola virus, which also causes hemorrhagic fever.
People in the southwest African nation are being urged to avoid the Uige region in the north where the deaths have been reported.
A medical team is on the ground in Uige and a national commission had been created to respond to the outbreak, which began in January, the Telegraph said.
